Stefan Goldmann
Stefan Goldmann’s music is highly conceptual, derived almost entirely from the aesthetic and technical frameworks of techno and house: in his works track, remix, sample and loop are pushed to their limits.
At C3 Goldman will perform his project ‘Trails’ with three percussion players – an acoustic blend of electronic and instrumental music. This project is a response to the concept of the unprecedented over availability of electronic music in the age of its digitalisation: access is a parameter that can be artistically defined. Through its hybrid existence as electronic music extracted through a speaker, ‘Trails’ questions what electronic music can offer acoustic instrumental music by blending these worlds.
